MANILA, Philippines — A mild earthquake, measuring at magnitude 4.5, jolted Davao Occidental on Tuesday mid-afternoon.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported that the quake hit 94 kilometers (km) southwest of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, at 3:27 p.m.
It had a depth of 15 km and was tectonic in origin.
No damage and aftershocks are expected, Phivolcs said.
