Tricycle driver slain in Masbate town
LEGAZPI CITY –– A tricycle driver was killed by unidentified men in Mobo town, Masbate province on Tuesday morning.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said Renato Capellan, 49, was driving his tricycle when three unidentified men flagged him down and stabbed him in Barangay Bagacay around 9:30 a.m.
Despite being wounded, Capellan was able to run, but one of the attackers shot him several times.
The police were still investigating the motive behind the killing.
