SSS extends deadline for loan payments
MANILA, Philippines — The Social Security System (SSS) will extend its deadline for contributions and loan payments amid the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.
SSS president and chief executive officer Aurora Ignacio said contributions due in February, March and April can be paid until June 1 without penalties.
Payments for salary, calamity, emergency and educational loans due in March and April can be paid until May, she said. “If the quarantine period is extended, we will add another month,” she said.
