4 doctors among Nueva Ecija’s 15 COVID-19 cases
CABANATUAN CITY—Four medical doctors were among the nine new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nueva Ecija as of Monday, Gov. Aurelio Umali said.
The new cases raised to 15 the COVID-19 patients in the province.
Citing reports by the local inter-agency task force on COVID-19, Umali said at least two of the doctors had direct exposure to other COVID-19 patients.
Gapan City has the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases with six; Cabanatuan City, four; and one each in Gen. Mamerto Natividad, San Isidro, Licab, Laur and San Antonio.
Umali also said the province has recorded six deaths of patients under investigation or PUI for the virus.
