The 21 singers are at the forefront of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis, said Dr. Kathlynne Anne Abat-Senen who posted the video and described it as a “virtual choirantine.”

The song was composed by Arnel de Pano and arranged by Robert Delgado. Abat-Senen herself edited the video.

“As medical students, we serenaded our patients and mentors believing that music heals our souls,” she said.

“May this raise awareness to the daily struggles of our healthcare workers battling an unseen enemy with very little protection.”

She also appealed for donations of personal protective equipment (PPEs), which could be coursed through the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation.
