3 more PUIs turn negative for COVID-19 in Oriental Mindoro
CITY OF CALAPAN, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines — Three more persons under investigation turned negative for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Oriental Mindoro as of 1:27 p.m. Sunday, according to Governor Humerlito Dolor.
Citing a report from the Department of Health (DOH) Oriental Mindoro, Dolor said
the laboratory tests from Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) showed the following PUIs were negative for COVID-19: Patient No.16 (49 years old, male) and Patient No. 17 (66 years old, male) both from the City of Calapan; and Patient No. 18 (28 years old, male) from Puerto Galera.
Out of 19 specimens sent to RITM, 18 results came back with 17 negative and one positive – a one-year-old patient.
While waiting for the result of the last specimen, there are three additional specimens that will be sent to RITM, said Dolor, in a Facebook post.
