In a Facebook post by Vice President Leni Robredo on Saturday, she stated the free dorm was made possible with the help of the University of the Philippines Law Class 1990-A, Rotary Club of San Juan Del Monte, Spouses of Rotary Club of San Juan North, and other Angat Buhay partners.
The first dormitory opened in Cubao.
“This is open to health workers, medical practitioners and other frontliners like security guards, and others doing frontline services related to our COVID-19,” Robredo stated.
But due to limited space, the dormitory will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
