Olongapo City confirms 1st case of COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– A 75-year-old man who traveled recently to Manila has become Olongapo City’s first case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said in a statement on Saturday (March 28).

The patient was in stable condition at the Allied Care Experts Medical Center-Baypointe inside the Subic Bay Freeport.

In a radio interview, Dr. Roderick Bustamante, city health director, said the patient was admitted on March 16 and was listed as a patient under investigation after exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
