Laguna placed under ‘total lockdown’

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna –– The province of Laguna was placed on “total lockdown” Saturday, at 1 p.m., amid an enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The announcement was made by Governor Ramil Hernandez on social media.

Earlier today, cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Pila town and San Pablo City, and an eighth case was confirmed in Santa Rosa City.

This brings the total number of COVID-19-positive patients in the province to 23.
