No need for quarantine pass, masks in groceries

/ 04:05 AM March 28, 2020

Quarantine passes and face masks are not requirements in entering establishments, such as groceries and supermarkets, Metro Manila Police’s regional director clarified on Friday.

Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas, chief of the National Capital Region Police Office, said there was no national directive banning persons without quarantine passes and face masks from these establishments.

The only guidance the police are enforcing, he said, is to practice social distancing.

He advised the public to report establishments that require face masks and quarantine passes. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
