San Juan City now has 69 COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths

MANILA, Philippines — Sixty-nine residents of San Juan City are now afflicted with the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with 10 fatalities, Mayor Francis Zamora said Friday.

As of 1 p.m. Friday, a total of 27 individuals are admitted in hospitals while 16 are in home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 109 individuals are under investigation (PUIs) for the disease while 239 are under monitoring (PUMs).

Barangay Greenhills recorded the most number of confirmed cases with 19 patients, followed by West Crame with 13 patients, according to Zamora’s post on Facebook.

As of March 26, 707 individuals across the country have tested positive for COVID-19. Forty-five have died while 28 were able to recover from the disease.

The Department of Health (DOH) is yet to release an update as to the number of cases as of Friday.
