MANILA, Philippines — Public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers in Taguig City will receive a P4,000 financial assistance per month after their source of income was paralized by the suspension of mass transport services during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine, city government said Friday.
The city government posted on social media that financial aid will be given to 15,000 members of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association (JODA), Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) and Pedicab Operators and Drivers Association (PODA) in the next two months.
