LEGAZPI CITY -The island province of Catanduanes has required all residents to secure a certification that they do not have signs of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) before entering and going out of every town.
Acting Governor Shirley Abundo, in an advisory, said aside from the quarantine pass issued by the village officials, any person who wants to go out of the town must undergo screening through the rural health unit and must not have symptoms of COVID-19 and not a person under investigation or monitoring.
The certification that expires every 8 p.m., would only be used for medical and humanitarian purposes.
Meanwhile, Abundo has advised all local government units to impose a liquor ban.
She also instructed the police to designate a priority lane in checkpoints for cargoes transporting basic necessities.
