Did You Know: 85th birth anniversary of Ernesto M. Maceda

Today, March 26, is the 85th birth anniversary of the late Senate President Ernesto M. Maceda.

Born in 1935, he earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from Ateneo de Manila University in 1956. He also completed a Doctorate in Public Administration from Polytechnic University of the Philippines and a Doctorate in Education from Philippine Normal University.

Maceda held five Cabinet positions and received over 40 local and international awards and honors. He was Senate president from 1996 to 1998. He died on June 20, 2016.
