INTERVIEW: COVID-19 Patient No. 4 opens up about experience
What started as pneumonia of unknown cause in Wuhan in China has now become a global pandemic and is now known as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
It has also reached the Philippines as more cases of COVID-19 are confirmed on a daily basis. As of Wednesday afternoon, March 25, confirmed cases of the disease in the country soared to 630 based on the Department of Health’s report.
This has prompted the Philippine government to enforce measures in an effort to prevent the spread of the disease such as the imposition of an enhanced community quarantine on Luzon.
In early March, the first COVID-19 case involving a Filipino was confirmed in the country. He was known as COVID-19 patient number 4.
COVID-19 patient number 4, Carlo Navarro, shares with INQUIRER.net’s Neil Arwin Mercado his experience as a COVID-19 patient.
He also opens up about the importance of extending support towards COVID-19 patients.
