LEGAZPI CITY—At least 2,000 food packs had been sent by the regional office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to Masbate province on Wednesday.

Vicky Tagum, head of the Disaster Risk and Management Division (DRMD) of DSWD in Bicol, said the food packs would be distributed to families categorized as poorest of the poor to help tide them over the COVID-19 health and quarantine crisis.

The Masbate provincial government, Philippine Navy and Philippine Army provided transport for the goods.
