Manila resident recovers from COVID-19 infection
MANILA, Philippines — A 23-year-old female Manila resident has recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Mayor Isko Moreno said Wednesday.
In an interview on dzMM, Moreno said one of the over 30 COVID-19 patients in the city has recovered from the disease.
(The good news is one of the COVID-19 patients, the result of her confirmatory test came out and she has fully recovered).
Moreno said the patient is from Sta. Ana, Manila.

(Maybe there are just people who are in poor health, especially those who are older, that’s why our appeal is to take care of the elderly because they are the most vulnerable in this situation).
The Philippines has so far recorded 552 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
With the rise of cases in the country, the government has placed the entire Luzon under an enhanced community quarantine to contain the spread of the disease.
