BLACKWATER and RnW Pacific Pipes will be playing with immense pressure on their shoulders as they take on separate opponents in the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.
With only four play dates left in their elimination round, Blackwater and Pacific Pipes have found themselves scrambling for quarterfinal berths.
Blackwater plays Cobra Energy Drink at 12 noon while Pacific Pipes battles Frego Jeans at 2 p.m.
The fact that three other teams – PC Gilmore, Boracay Rum and Café France – are crowding them for the two remaining quarterfinal berths make things tougher for the Elite and the Steel Masters.
Worse, things are not working well lately for the Blackwater and Pacific Pipes.
