MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has deported three Chinese nationals caught with falsified passport stamps at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2.
BI Port Operations Division Chief Grifton Medina identified the three as Qiu Qilong, Su Lianfa, and Wang Huiting. They were sent back to their port of origin on March 20 and included the BI’s blacklist.
In a statement Tuesday, the BI said the Chinese nationals were intercepted while attempting to depart via a Philippine Airlines flight for Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
“Upon verification of our records, it was confirmed that they falsified their previous travel history,” said Medina.
“In their passports you would see that they arrived last February, but our database clearly shows that they’ve been here without leaving since January,” he added.
