MANILA, Philippines — The fire that destroyed a storage facility in Balintawak, Quezon City has been declared under control by city firemen on Tuesday evening.
Officers from the Masambong Fire Sub-station in Quezon City told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview that the fire started at 4:44 p.m. and reached Task Force Bravo alarm at 5:00 p.m. The blaze was under control an hour after.
The storage area, located along Kaingin Road near Magsalin Street in Barangay Apolonio Samson, reportedly houses general merchandise items.
Arson investigators are still on-site as of this posting to determine the cause of the fire.
