MANILA, Philippines — Residents of Caloocan City are required to follow window hours imposed for household members buying essential goods in the market while the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon is still ongoing.
Caloocan Mayor Oscar Malapitan announced on Tuesday that window hours will be imposed requiring citizens to stay in their homes and follow social distancing to contain the spread of coronavirus disease.
Based on the Facebook post, Caloocan residents can buy their needs in small public markets from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, residents are allowed to go to groceries, banks and pharmacies from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The local government also reminded that only those aged 18 to 60 years old are allowed to use the quarantine pass to buy basic necessities.
To date, Caloocan has eight positive COVID-19 cases, 46 persons under investigation and 161 persons under monitoring for the disease.
