CALASIAO, Pangasinan, Philippines — Pangasinan Gov. Amado Espino III on Monday placed the entire province under “extreme enhanced community quarantine” because of four confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), two of whom had died.
In an executive order, Espino said the two fatalities were in the towns of Bayambang and Rosales while the two other cases were both in Malasiqui town.
Starting at 8 p.m. on Monday, March 23, up to midnight on March 31, no one would be allowed to enter and exit the province, Espino said.
The town of Malasiqui was also placed under extreme enhanced community quarantine while the community quarantine of Bayambang has been extended from March 28 to March 31.
This means that the residents of Bayambang and Malasiqui are not allowed to leave their houses and must undergo home quarantine, Espino said.
