Albay town to implement ‘coding’ for market-goers during Luzon-wide lockdown

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines  — The local government of Daraga in Albay will be implementing a “market coding” scheme to manage the movement of residents while the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is being enforced.

Mayor Victor Perete said that residents of Barangays (villages) Sagpon, Maroroy, San Roque, Sipi and Ilawod will be allowed in the public market in the town center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Residents of the villages of Market Site, Tagas, Binitayan, Kimantong, Bagumbayan, and Bañag will have their turn to go to the market every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
