Coronavirus cases in Quezon City rise to 49, with 5 new cases
MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City government on Sunday confirmed 5 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which now stands at 49.
Two of the new cases were from Brgy. Horseshoe, one from Pansol, one from Batasan and one from Sacred Heart, the QC government said in an update.
The detailed breakdown is as follows:

Of the 49 cases, three have died while five have recovered. There are 153 patients under monitoring while 30 are under investigation.
Quezon City, the biggest and most populated city in Metro Manila, was earlier placed under a state of calamity due to COVID-19. This will enable the 142 barangays to access the Quick Response Fund.
