Pacman offered $65M to stage fight in Mexico

Manny Pacquiao has been offered $65 million by the reputed world’s richest man, Carlos Slim, to fight in his hometown in Mexico.

Carlos Slim Helú is a Mexican business magnate and philanthropist, who has at various times been noted as the world’s wealthiest person. He is the chairman and chief executive of telecommunications companies Telmex and América Móvil, and has extensive holdings in other Mexican companies through his conglomerate, Grupo Carso SAB, as well as business interests elsewhere in the world.

Pacquiao, is a Filipino professional boxer and politician. He is an eight-division world champion, the first boxer in history to win ten world titles, the first to win in eight weight divisions,[4] and the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes

Currently, Pacquiao is the WBO Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion). He is also currently rated as the “number one” pound-for-pound best boxer in the world. /Inquirer
