Bacoor City resident is Cavite’s first COVID-19 fatality as cases in province rise to 10

SAN PEDRO CITY-A 76-year-old man from Cavite province died on Friday, the first fatality of the COVID-19 disease in the province.

Cavite Gov. Juanito Victor Remulla said the man, a resident of Bacoor City, had been confined in a health facility in the province.

Also on Friday, a 70-year-old man also from Bacoor City and a 47-year-old woman from Rosario town tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19.

The number of infections in Cavite alone is now 10, recorded in the cities of Bacoor, Dasmariñas, Imus and in the towns of Tanza and Silang.
