While the country is under a state of calamity due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for “bayanihan” becomes stronger than ever.

Workers who are in the frontlines of the battle against the virus are in need of food and medical supplies and equipment, while citizens belonging to the lower class of society also need monetary aid and basic necessities.

In response, various local groups and organizations have been urging their fellow countrymen to lend a helping hand in whatever way they can. The following is a list of donation drives and initiatives calling for financial aid, medical supplies, food donations and other essential items.
