2 nabbed for illegal drugs, gun in Masbate

LEGAZPI CITY –– Two persons were arrested in separate search warrant operations in Cawayan town in Masbate province on Wednesday night.

Masbate police said in a report that Ramcy Du, 38, considered a high-value individual in the list of illegal drug personalities in the province, was arrested in Barangay Looc at 10:45 p.m.

Seized from him were a big sachet and four small sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and other drug paraphernalia.

Romeo Consas, 44, a businessman, was also arrested in a separate operation in the same village at 11:05 p.m. He was also considered a high-value individual in the list of illegal drug personalities in the Bicol region.

Confiscated were a small and four medium sachets of suspected shabu and a caliber 45 pistol inserted with a steel magazine and 10 live ammunition for the same gun.
