2 curfew violators nabbed for gun, ‘shabu’ in Camarines provinces

LEGAZPI CITY –– Two curfew violators were arrested for possession of an unlicensed gun, suspected illegal drugs, and bladed weapons during the implementation of a curfew in Camarines provinces on Wednesday night.

In Ragay, Camarines Sur, Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., director of provincial police, said in a report that Rommel Landicho, 23, was flagged down while on board a motorcycle in Barangay Banga Caves at 10:49 p.m.

Recovered from him were a fan knife, 12 sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth), and four empty plastic sachets of suspected illegal drugs.

In Paracale, Camarines Norte, Gerardo Dela Pena Jr., 36, was apprehended in Barangay Bagumbayan at 11:30 p.m., Colonel Marlon Tejada, Camarines Norte police chief, said.

Seized from him was a suspected caliber 45 pistol with inserted magazine and chamber loaded.
