Subic Freeport has new PUI for COVID-19

OLONGAPO CITY –– The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) on Wednesday confirmed that another person here has been listed as a patient under investigation (PUI) for possible coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

SBMA Chief Wilma Eisma said the patient exhibited symptoms of the disease, such as fever, but was stable while being isolated at an intensive care unit of a hospital.

Last week, a hotel in this free port confirmed that one of its foreign guests was listed as a PUI for COVID-19, but Eisma said the hotel guest was tested negative on Wednesday./lzb
