PCG offers free rides for health workers in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) will deploy buses to give free rides for health workers in Manila who are unable to go to and from their respective hospitals due to the suspension of public transportation in the country.

In a tweet, PCG announced that health personnel working in government hospitals in Manila may avail rides from Land Transportation Office (LTO) in East Avenue in Quezon City which will start from 6 a.m.

“Magdedeploy ng buses ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) para maihatid ang mga health workers mula LTO Central Office sa East Avenue, Quezon City papunta sa kanilang pinagtatrabahuhang pampublikong ospital sa Maynila,” read the statement on Tuesday.
