LUCENA CITY – At least seven more have been added to the growing list of suspected carriers of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Quezon province, local health authorities revealed Tuesday afternoon.
The Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) recorded 35 PUIs as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, an increase from Monday’s record of 28, their report showed.
At least 19 of the PUIs were confined in undisclosed hospitals, while seven opted for home quarantine, and one has been transferred to a place not mentioned in the report.
The lone confirmed case of coronavirus in the province was still confined in an undisclosed hospital.
Dr. Grace Santiago, Quezon health officer, said they were still waiting for the laboratory test result of the lone possible casualty of COVID-19 in the province, who was a native of Sariaya town.
