Cebu City’s fifth most wanted man nabbed

A MAN considered as the number five most wanted person in Cebu City was arrested in a saturation drive in barangay Calamba, Cebu City, last Friday night.

Marciano Villanueva is facing murder charges and has a P25,000 bounty for his head, said police.

Police said Villanueva was allegedly involved in at least four killings in barangay Calamba.

A warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Eric Menchavez of Branch 21 against Villanueva.

Chief Insp. Romeo Santander, head of the City Intelligence Branch (CIB) of the Cebu City police, said a separate arrest warrant for drug charges may also be issued against Villanueva next week.

Police said Villanueva was the second of the 10 most wanted persons arrested in Cebu City. First to fall was murder suspect Redwin Lim.
