LEGAZPI CITY — As coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases continue to surge all over the world, police in Bicol move to protect their uniformed and non-uniformed personnel at Camp General Simeon A. Ola here.
All policemen and the non-uniformed personnel are advised to wear a face mask before entering the gate effective Monday under the “no face mask, no entry” policy.
Even guests or civilians are obliged to wear face masks as a preventive measure in the outbreak of COVID-19, said Police Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
In Baras town in Catanduanes, those who are going to get police clearances or have other reasons to go to the police station are instructed to wear face masks.
Meanwhile, face masks in the market are out of stock and rural health units have started running low of supplies, said Hazel Palmes, Catanduanes provincial health officer.
