Laguna gov’t clarifies COVID-19 cases in Sta. Rosa
SAN PEDRO CITY — Another person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is currently admitted for treatment in a private hospital in Sta. Rosa City in Laguna province.
But Laguna health officer Rene Bagamasbad on Sunday clarified that the patient is a resident of Lipa City, Batangas and the case, for documentation purposes, is included or counted under Batangas province.
Meanwhile, a male local resident of Sta. Rosa City also tested positive for the virus, making him the first case of infection in Laguna.
Both patients are confined in two different facilities in Sta. Rosa as of the moment.
