DIGOS CITY — A magnitude 3.8 earthquake jolted Davao del Sur province at 7:20 a.m. on Sunday, with epicenter traced seven kilometers southwest of Kiblawan town, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of focus of 8 kilometers and was felt at Intensity II in Kidapawan City.
It was also felt at Instrumental Intensity II in Malungon, Sarangani province and at Instrumental Intensity I in Kidapawan City and Tupi, South Cotabato.
Phivolcs said no damage and aftershocks were to be expected.
Phivolcs also monitored a magnitude 4.2 earthquake in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat at 2:37 a.m. on Saturday.
