Hours of operation of malls, bars, restaurants shortened in Legazpi

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay, Philippines — The government of this city encouraged ordered some establishments to shorten their hours of operation starting Sunday as a precaution to contain and prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In an advisory, Mayor Noel Rosal said all malls, bars, and restaurants must be closed at 8 p.m. to give allowance to all workers to be home before 10 p.m.

He said minors were also discouraged to go to malls unless accompanied by their parents or guardians.

All mall-based cinemas will be closed.
