Scattered rains across the country on Saturday
MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies will continue to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains for most areas in the Philippines on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.
In a public weather forecast at 4 a.m., weather specialist Meno Mendoza said easterlies would continue to affect the country.
“The easterlies would continue to affect Pacific Ocean,” he said in Filipino.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will persist over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather specialist also warned of possible flash floods in case of severe thunderstorms in the region.
Mendoza also said no weather disturbance is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three days.
Meanwhile, the extreme Northern Luzon area is still affected by the northeast monsoon.
Mendoza said Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains this weekend.
