Fisherman aboard boat ‘Weather-Weather’ goes missing

DIGOS CITY – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Davao Occidental has issued a lookout bulletin for a fisherman who went missing at sea on March 11.

Roel Sandoval, PCG station commander in Davao Occidental, said Manny Mante, 35, of Caburan village in Jose Abad Santos town, had been fishing off the coast of the village.

He was last seen around 5 p.m. on Wednesday (March 11) aboard a mint green motorboat called “Weather-Weather”.

Sandoval asked mariners and residents along the coastlines of Davao Occidental to help locate Mante.

Sandoval also urged those who have information about the whereabouts of Mante and the motorboat to report immediately to the nearest Coast Guard Station or call mobile phone number 0917-823-7291.
