Pagcor remits P2B to help fight COVID-19

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) has remitted P2 billion to the Office of the President to combat the spread of new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Pagcor chair and CEO Andrea Domingo said on Thursday that the money will help in the operations of the Bureau of Quarantine and the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, as well as in the procurement of protective gear. —Nikka G. Valenzuela
