Akcupi is now IKU member

/ 10:23 PM January 07, 2012

The Asian Kennel Club Union of the Philippines Inc. (Akcupi) has added another feather to its cap with its acceptance as the newest member of the International Kennel Union (IKU), one of the most prestigious and largest dog federations in the world.

Akcupi chair and president Henry G. Babiera said the club’s membership in the IKU reinforces the club’s emerging and influential role in the Asia Pacific region after being appointed by the Federacion Canina Internacional (FCI) based in Spain as head of its Asia-Pacific Branch in 2009.

Aside from IKU, Akcupi is also a member of FCI (Spain), the biggest and most prestigious international purebred registering club in the world, Kennel Club Union of Asia (KCUA), and the Union of Asia Kennel Clubs (UAKC).

Akcupi’s headquarters is at 316 Quezon Ave., Quezon City with tel. nos. 3766597-98, with e-mail ad at [email protected] and website at www.akcupi.com.
