Fire hits residential bock in Parañaque
MANILA, Philippines — A fire that struck houses in Parañaque City on Thursday afternoon has reached Task Force Alpha, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
In an initial report, BFP National Capital Region said the blaze swept through houses at El Dorado Dulo in Barangay Don Bosco at 3:48 p.m. and was raised to 5th alarm after more than one hour. Firefighters raised the alarm to Task Force Alpha at 4:36 p.m.
Fire was declared under control at 6:02 p.m. was extinguished after an hour.
A report from Fire Officer II Jeniva Jose of Parañaque Fire Department showed that the blaze left P1 million worth of damage while 300 families were affected in the incident.
Fire investigators are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
