Albay town suspends classes due to COVID-19 concerns

LEGAZPI CITY –– The local government of Sto. Domingo town in Albay province has declared suspension of classes due to concerns over the possible spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Mayor Joseling Aguas Jr. said classes in all levels in private and public schools would be suspended from March 13 to 22.

He said they were also planning to implement a four-day work in a week for the local government employees.

“Employees must render work not less than 10 hours a day,” he said.
