Senator Pacquiao: Mommy Dionisia is in good health

MANILA, Philippines — The Pacquiao family has assured that its matriarch, Mommy Dionisia is in good shape and health condition.

“We are very grateful to those who expressed their concerns for Mommy D maraming salamat po sa pagmamahal God bless you and please continue to pray for our country,” Jinkee Pacquiao said in a statement, which was forwarded to reporters by a staff of Senator Manny Pacquiao on Thursday.

This after messages, from an account that used the name of Jinkee Pacquiao, circulated online and claimed that Mommy Dionisia tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and is in critical condition.

“May we all get through this together. Let us please pray for those who are infected by the Covid 19 virus and their family. To those who are spreading lies and fake news, we will pray for you. God Bless us all. God bless the Philippines,” the statement further read.

The Department of Health (DOH) has so far reported 49 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country.
