LUCENA CITY –– Two notorious drug pushers from this city were arrested in Candelaria town in Quezon province on Wednesday afternoon, police said Thursday.

Rodelio Bañas and his cohort, Melanie Virrey, both residents of Lucena City, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Masin Norte around 4 p.m., a Quezon police report said.

Bañas, accompanied by Virrey, was the one who sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer.
