Belmonte said the patient was earlier diagnosed with dengue fever.

Belmonte assured the patient’s family will also be tested or COVID-19.

She said she was unsure whether the case was included in the 49 confirmed COVID-19 cases  in the country.

The three other patients in the city are a 57-year old man, a man in his 30s residing in Tomas Morato Avenue and a resident of Barangay Project 6.

The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday night announced the first death of a Filipino in the country due to COVID-19.
