443 quarantined repatriates from MV Diamond Princess to be sent home
TARLAC CITY –– The 443 repatriates from MV Diamond Princess have completed their quarantine at the Athletes’ Village in New Clark City and would be sent home on Wednesday, local officials said.
Capas town Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan said a send-off ceremony had been prepared for the quarantined repatriates.
But records from the Department of Health and Department of Foreign Affairs showed that there were 445 repatriates from the cruise ship in Yokohama, Japan.
The DOH on Tuesday said two of the repatriates were included in the confirmed cases of coronavirus disease in the country.
