7 drivers positive in drug test in Albay
LEGAZPI CITY –– At least seven bus and truck drivers were arrested after testing positive of drugs in a surprise test in Polangui town in Albay early Wednesday morning.
A report from the police said the drivers were arrested in a checkpoint at the weighing bridge of the Department of Public Works and Highways along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Centro Occidental around 8:30 p.m.
The police, DPWH, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the checkpoint and random drug testing.
