MANILA, Philippines — Hot and humid weather is expected in Metro Manila and many parts of the country on Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said that Metro Manila’s temperature could range from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

“‘Yun pong nalalabing bahagi ng bansa kasama ang Metro Manila ay patuloy na makakaranas ng mainit at maalinsangan na panahon lalo na sa tanghali at sa hapon,” he said in Pagasa’s weather bulletin video.

Isolated rains, however, brought about by localized thunderstorms could still occur, he added.

Northern Luzon will experience slightly colder weather compared to the past few days due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan.”
