Ex-soldier dies after his motorcycle sideswiped by van in Isabela city
SANTIAGO CITY-A motorcycle-riding retired Army soldier died after he was sideswiped by a van before getting hit by another car here on Monday (March 9), police said.
Killed was Edwin Sangbaan, 56, from Abra village in this city.
Investigators said Sangbaan was driving his motorcycle at the bypass road in Barangay Buenavista and was heading to Barangay Ambalatungan during the accident.
Junino Pilla, 41, driver of the L-300 van, is facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
